GSUCD and CDGU Join Peace Rally Against Sexual Assault in Medziphema

Dimapur, July 18: The Gorkha Students’ Union Chümoukedima District (GSUCD) and the Chümoukedima District Gorkha Union (CDGU), along with their affiliated units, participated in the Peace Rally Against Sexual Assault held at Medziphema Town on Saturday.

The rally brought together students, youth organizations, community leaders, civil society groups, and concerned citizens to express solidarity with the minor survivor and strongly condemn all forms of sexual violence against children.

Representing GSUCD were members from the Singrijan Khopanala Youth Association (SKYA), Chümoukedima Town, and Seithekema-C. Members of the CDGU and its affiliated Gorkha Union units also actively participated in the rally, joining the collective call for justice.

The participants demanded a fair, speedy, and impartial investigation into the case and urged the authorities to ensure the timely delivery of justice.

Through their participation, GSUCD and CDGU reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the rights and dignity of every child while pledging to work alongside other stakeholders in building a safe, secure, and violence-free society.
