Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das said that a delegation led by him and Ashutosh met Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr Jitendra Singh in Delhi to discuss the ongoing student protests and present their demands.

Das said the delegation highlighted three key demands, including the resignation or dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, ₹1 crore compensation for families whose children allegedly died by suicide due to the country’s “broken and corrupt NEET education system,” and the withdrawal of FIRs filed against students who were peacefully protesting.

He further demanded a written assurance from the government that protesters would not be targeted in the future.

According to Das, the delegation also submitted a five-point policy demand charter. He claimed that the government responded positively, in principle, to the demands for compensation, withdrawal of FIRs, and a written guarantee against future action.

Das added that the delegation has been invited for another meeting with the government tomorrow.
