All IndiGo Flights at Guwahati Airport to Operate from Terminal 2 from 20 July 2026

Guwahati, July 17: Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport (LGBIA) has announced that IndiGo will shift all its flight operations to the airport’s new Terminal 2 (T2) from 12:01 a.m. on July 20, 2026.

With the transition, all IndiGo arrivals and departures at Guwahati Airport will operate exclusively from the New Integrated Terminal, offering passengers a more modern, seamless and comfortable travel experience.

The airport said the new terminal has been designed with world-class passenger amenities, improved operational efficiency and enhanced comfort to meet the growing demand for air travel in the Northeast.

Inspired by Assam’s rich cultural heritage, the terminal features a distinctive bamboo-themed architectural design that reflects the region’s identity while incorporating contemporary infrastructure and sustainable design principles. The terminal has also received international recognition for its design excellence, making it one of India’s most modern airport terminals.

Passengers travelling on IndiGo flights from July 20 onwards have been advised to report directly to Terminal 2 for check-in, security screening and boarding. To ensure a smooth transition, the airport has arranged clear wayfinding signage, passenger information displays and on-ground assistance.

The migration of IndiGo’s operations marks another key milestone in the phased operationalisation of the New Integrated Terminal and reinforces Guwahati Airport’s commitment to improving connectivity and enhancing the overall passenger experience as the gateway to Northeast India.

Passengers are also advised to verify their flight details with IndiGo before travelling and to arrive at the airport well in advance of their scheduled departure.
