Nagaland Govt Offers 100% Free Skill Training Under NSEDM & IDAN Initiative

Empowering Naga youth through skill-based employment opportunities

In a major push towards empowering the youth of Nagaland, the Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM) under IDAN, Government of Nagaland, is offering 100% free training programs in collaboration with Pinnacle Skills, an NSDC-approved training partner.

The initiative aims to equip young people with employable skills across various trades and sectors through both residential and non-residential training programs.

Residential Training Courses

The residential training courses include:

  1. Electrician cum Plumbing
  2. Masonry cum Tiling (Construction)

Each course runs for 1 month and is open to candidates with a minimum qualification of Class 5 and above. The training will be conducted in the respective districts, and is exclusively open to applicants from Chümoukedima, Kohima, Meluri, Peren, Wokha, and Mon.

Non-Residential Training Courses

Non-residential training programs are also available for:

  1. AC & Refrigerator Maintenance and Repair – Duration: 40 days (Eligibility: Class 8 & above) – Training Location: Sematilla, Dimapur
  2. Bank Probationary Officer (PO) Coaching – Duration: 6 months (Eligibility: Graduates) – Training Location: Duncan Basti, Dimapur
