Mussu Pond, one of the most popular angling destinations in the region, witnessed a historic moment when Mr. Neizo, a passionate Angler reeled in a massive 14.5 kg Katla fish—earning himself a spot in the prestigious Angling Club’s Hall of Fame.
The remarkable catch occurred during a night fishing session, a unique feature offered at Mussu Pond. According to Mr. Neizo, the fish took the bait around 4:00 AM, and it took more than 40 minutes of intense effort to bring it to the surface.
