Dimapur, July 22, 2026: The Central Minority Wing of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) organized a Coordination-cum-Orientation Programme on Wednesday at the NPF Dimapur Division Conference Hall, bringing together Minority Wing leaders and office bearers from Dimapur I, Dimapur II, Dimapur III, Ghaspani I and Ghaspani II Assembly Constituencies, Dimapur Division, Chümoukedima Division, and the NPF Central Office.
The programme provided a platform for interaction and organizational strengthening, with AC and Division Presidents sharing grievances, suggestions, and proposals aimed at strengthening the party at the grassroots level. Participants emphasized the need for greater coordination, discipline, and unity to further consolidate the Minority Wing across the State.
Addressing the gathering, Vihoshe Awomi, President of the NPF Dimapur Division, assured his full support towards strengthening the Minority Wing in Dimapur District and reaffirmed the Division’s commitment to working closely with Minority Wing leaders and workers.
N. R. Zeliang, Vice President, NPF Central and In-charge of the Central Minority Wing, spoke on party discipline, organizational guidelines, and the importance of unity. He appreciated the efforts of the Central Minority Wing under the leadership of Bishnu Bhattacharjee, President, Central Minority Wing, and urged Division and AC-level office bearers to maintain close coordination and mutual cooperation.
Neitho Khusoh, Vice President, NPF Central Youth Wing, encouraged Minority Wing members to remain united, dedicated, and committed to strengthening the party organization. He also stressed the importance of active participation by youth and grassroots workers in taking the party’s vision and programmes to the people.
Mahesh Agarwal, COB and DMC Member, called upon Minority Wing members to continue working with dedication and assured his wholehearted support. He urged the members to remain united under the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister for the continued growth of the party.
In his presidential address, Bishnu Bhattacharjee, President, Central Minority Wing, highlighted the contribution of Minority voters and party workers towards strengthening the Naga People’s Front. He expressed gratitude to the Central leadership for its continued support and guidance to the Minority Wing.
Bhattacharjee also reaffirmed the Minority Wing’s support for the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, NPF President, and Secretary General Achumbemo Kikon. He thanked all AC, Division, Youth Wing, Women Wing, and Central office bearers and members for their active participation and dedicated efforts in making the programme a success.
The programme was chaired by Mahendra Thousen. The invocation prayer was offered by Keshok Momin, General Secretary, Central Minority Wing, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Apun Naben. The benediction was pronounced by Anand Gurung, General Secretary, NPF Minority Wing, Dimapur Division.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen the organizational structure of the Minority Wing through greater coordination, regular organizational activities, membership expansion, and dedicated grassroots engagement in accordance with the principles and vision of the Naga People’s Front.
