Job Fair Held in Kohima to Bridge Unemployment Gap

A Job Fair under the Ministry of Labour & Employment was successfully held on 29th July 2025 at the Regional Employment Exchange Kohima (MCC), Directorate of Employment SDE, Kohima. The event was jointly organized by the National Career Service for Centre for SC/ST Kohima, Regional Employment Exchange (MCC) Kohima, AIDA, and Don Bosco Job Placement Network Dimapur.

R. S. Siipuni Pou, Sub-Regional Employment Officer, National Career Service for Centre for SC/ST Kohima, stated that such job fairs are conducted periodically to provide a platform for unemployed youth across the state to connect with potential employers. Candidates are first screened and interviewed before being considered for employment.

This edition of the Job Fair saw the participation of five companies: Chillibreeze, Talent Acquaintance, SBI Life, T Tec (online interview), and Apex Motor Enterprise, Dimapur, conducting interviews and recruitment for various roles.
